Shobana Turns Down Marthandan's 'Paavada'?

Shobana, the veteran actress-dancer has reportedly walked out of Marthandan's upcoming movie Paavada. It is rumoured that the actress turned down the movie, as she was not impressed with the way the project has conceived.

Paavada is a multi-starrer movie which stars Prithviraj and Anoop Menon in the lead role. The fans and media were eagerly waiting for the movie, as it was supposed to mark the first onscreen collaboration of Shobana and Prithviraj.

According to the rumour mills, Asha Sarath, the dancer turned actress has replaced Shobana as the female lead of the movie. It is also rumoured that the team is also planning to change the title of the movie.

It was also reported that Biju Menon is also playing a key role in the movie. But according to the latest reports, the actor is not a part of the project. However, none of these reports has been officially confirmed.

Shobana made a comeback into movies with Vineeth Sreenivasan directed social thriller Thira in 2013. The actress has already confirmed that she will be acting in the sequels of the movie, which have been titled as Thira 2 and Thira 3.

The veteran actress is very busy with her dance shows and classes. She is currently running a dance school named Kalarppana in Chennai. Shobana has adopted a baby girl named Anantha Narayani in 2010.
