Jeethu
Joseph,
the
filmmaker
who
is
on
a
high
with
the
success
of
his
latest
movie
Papanasam,
says
that
stardom
is
the
biggest
curse
for
the
actors.
Jeethu
was
talking
in
a
recent
interview.
The
director
says
that
only
very
few
actors
are
ready
to
play
the
characters
without
thinking
about
their
image.
He
states
that
he
has
been
lucky
enough
to
work
with
such
actors,
including
the
veterans
Mohanlal
and
Kamal
Hassan.
Most
of
the
actors
are
extremely
image
conscious
and
not
ready
to
experiment
with
different
roles.
Jeethu
Joseph
feels
that
the
star
status
is
a
burden
for
the
budding
actors,
as
it
prevents
them
from
proving
their
versatility.
Before
starting
the
filming
of
Papanasam,
some
industry
members
had
warned
Jeethu
Joseph,
that
Kamal
Hassan
is
an
actor
who
interferes
in
his
director's
work.
But
despite
the
information,
Kamal
was
a
director's
actor
on
sets.
Mohanlal,
the
lead
actor
of
Jeethu
Joseph's
blockbuster
movie
Drishyam,
was
also
ready
to
approach
the
role
in
a
natural
way.
The
actor
was
not
hesitant
to
act
in
the
violent
scenes
with
Kalabhavan
Shajohn.
Jeethu
Joseph
is
all
set
to
release
his
Dileep
starrer
Life
Of
Josutty
for
Onam.
As
per
the
reports
he
is
planning
two
projects,
with
Mohanlal
and
Prithviraj
in
the
lead
roles.
