Suresh Gopi-Shaji Kailas Movie To Start Rolling Soon

The upcoming Suresh Gopi starrer movie, directed by Shaji Kailas, will start rolling soon. Interestingly, Suresh Gopi, who is widely popular for his police characters, will be essaying a police officer in the movie.

As per the reports, the movie, which is penned by Rajesh Jayaraman, is touted to be a political thriller, which will depict the current political scenario of Kerala. It was earlier rumoured that the movie is about the solar scam and its convict Saritha Nair.

But Shaji Kailas slammed the rumours stating that the theme has no links with the solar scam. He also bashed the reports which suggested that Saritha Nair will be acting in the movie.

Suresh Gopi, who is extremely selective about the roles he picks, has recently completed the filming for the movies Rudrasimhasanam, which is said to be a horror flick and psychic thriller My God.

Shaji Kailas and Suresh Gopi teamed up for the last time for the movie The King And The Commissioner, which was a joint sequel of the blockbuster movies The King and Commissioner.

The director is currently going through an extreme bad phase of his career with the back to back box office failures. Shaji Kailas's last few movies, including Simhasanam, Madirashi, and Ginger, were critical and commercial failures.
