PHOTOS: Vanitha-Cera Film Awards Winners List
The highly anticipated Vanitha-Cera Film Awards have been announced. The awards are decided by the polls conducted among the readers of Vanitha Magazine, Malayala Manorama daily and public; thus providing an opportunity to the audience to select the most deserving actors and technicians for the awards.
The awards will be distributed in the event, which will be held on February 15th, at Willingdon Island, Kochi. Popular actors, singers and technicians for Bollywood and Malayalam movie industry will be present at the event.
Abride Shin’s 1983 bagged the award for Best Movie. Mammootty won the Best Actor award, for his performance in the movie Varsham. Manju Warrier, who made a stunning comeback with How Old Are You, won the Best Actress Award. Veteran director IV Sasi bagged the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his contributions to Malayalam cinema.
