BOX OFFICE: Action Hero Biju 5 Days Kerala & Tamil Nadu Collections

Action Hero Biju, the Nivin Pauly starrer has been successfully running at the theatres. The movie, which is directed by Abrid Shine, is the first release of Nivin Pauly in 2016.

Even though Action Hero Biju has been receiving mixed to positive reviews from the audiences and critics, it hasn't affected the box office collections of the movie.

Kerala Box Office Collections

The movie had a good opening at the Kerala box office, with an initial collection of Rs. 1.59 Crores. Action Hero Biju was expected to break the collection record of Mohanlal's Loham, but couldn't make it.

According to the trade analysts, the movie has made a gross collection of Rs. 4.38 Crores, when it completes the 5th day of release. The movie was made with a budget of 2 Crores.

It is undoubtedly a profitable venture for Nivin, who makes production debut with the movie. But at the same time, Action Hero Biju couldn't recreate the magic of the previous Nivin movies, including Premam.

Tamil Nadu Box Office Collections

Interestingly, Action Hero Biju has made quite a stir at the Tamil Nadu box office, unlike the usual Malayalam releases. The movie has made a collection of 18.63 Lakhs on the releasing day.

Thus, Action Hero Biju has emerged as the Malayalam movie with the highest Tamil Nadu initial collections. Seems like the Premam effect has helped the movie sustain at the Tamil Nadu box office.
