'Action Hero Biju' Was Attacked By A Group: Nivin Pauly

Nivin Pauly, the lead actor cum producer of the recently released blockbuster movie Action Hero Biju, revealed some shocking facts in the recent interview given to Manorama Online.

He revealed that the movie was attacked in the social media, by a particular group of people. The posts which stated that Action Hero Biju is a flop movie went viral immediately after the first show began.

While the mainstream media went to give highly positive reviews for the movie, social media was filled with negative comments. It was revealed that most of those comments were posted through fake profiles.

Director Abrid Shine and Nivin Pauly stated that it was almost like a gangster attack. The duo has also requested the attackers, not to do this again to any movie or the team behind it, in future.

Nivin states that he was extremely scared about the future of Action Hero Biju, after watching the shocking release day responses in the social media. But the film industry friends offered complete support.

It was Sathyan Anthikad, who pacified Nivin and Abrid, stating that good films will always survive. The senior director remarked that similar things have happened with some of his popular films.

Other industry friends, including Vineeth Sreenivasan, Jayasurya, Anwar Rasheed, Aju Varghese, Martin Prakkat, etc were also with Abrid, Nivin, and their team, offering their complete support.

Gradually, theatres started screening more shows and social media's attitude towards the movie changed. Nivin and Abrid are undoubtedly on a high now, with the most unexpected success.
