Actor-Mimicry Artist Sagar Shiyas Passes Away

Sagar Shiyas, the popular mimicry artist turned actor, passed away. The 51-year-old breathed his last at Tata Hospital Chottanikkara on August 11th, Thursday around 8.30 pm due to kidney failure.

The talented actor was undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailments, since the past 10 days. Sagar Shiyas, who hails from Muvattupuzha, is survived by wife Shiny, and kids, Aaliya, Amaana, and Ajilm.

Shiyas, who was active in the mimicry industry from the past 25 years, rose to fame through his portrayal of superstar Rajinikanth, on stage. He made a place for himself in the mimicry industry through stage shows and parody cassettes.

Sagar Shiyas, who has appeared in several films in small roles, got the major turning points in his career through Anjali Menon's Manjadikuru and Bangalore Days. He ;ast appeared in Nadhirshah directed Amar Akbar Anthony.
