welcomed
their
first
child,
a
baby
boy.
Alphonse
revealed
the
happy
news
with
a
sweet
note,
posted
on
his
Facebook
page.
The
director,
who
is
all
excited
about
the
fatherhood,
stated
that
it
is
hard
to
explain
his
joy
through
words.
The
industry
friends,
including
the
Premam
team,
congratulated
Alphonse
for
his
new
found
joy.
It
was
a
love-cum-arranged
marriage
for
Alphonse
Puthren
and
Aleena
Mary
Antony,
who
is
the
daughter
of
popular
film
producer
Alwyn
Antony.
The
couple
met
during
their
Chennai
days
and
later
fell
in
love.
They
entered
the
wedlock
on
22nd
August
2015,
in
a
traditional
ceremony
held
at
Aluva
St.
Dominic's
Church.
The
wedding
was
attended
by
several
eminent
personalities
of
Malayalam
and
Tamil
industries.
Alphonse
Puthren,
who
entered
the
industry
through
short
films,
made
his
feature
film
debut
with
the
2013-released
movie
Neram.
He
rose
to
fame
with
his
second
venture,
the
Nivin
Paulty
starrer
Premam.
Interestingly,
Alphonse
is
all
set
to
make
his
Bollywood
debut
soon,
with
the
remake
of
Premam
or
Neram.
The
director
had
received
several
appreciations
for
the
editing
of
Oppam
official
trailer.
