Alphonse Puthren To Edit Oppam Trailer

Alphonse Puthren, the Premam director has been roped in to edit the official trailer of Oppam, the upcoming Mohanlal-Priyadarshan movie. Priyadarshan announced the news through his official Facebook page recently.

Earlier, Priyan had openly appreciated Alphonse's Premam, and expressed his desire to team up with the young director-editor someday. The senior film-maker's wish is coming true with his ambitious project, Oppam.

Oppam main film is edited by MS Ayyappan Nair. The movie, which is scripted by Priyadarshan himself, is slated to release for Onam 2016. The trailer will be released along with Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Kabali.

It is a dream-come-true offer for Alphonse Puthren, who has already proved his mettle as both a film-maker and editor. The film-maker is currently busy with the scripting of his next project, which might star Mammootty in the lead role.

Mohanlal-Priyadarshan team is all set to make a grand comeback with Oppam, which is said to be one of the most different films of the duo's career. The movie is a complete investigative thriller.

Oppam stars Vimala Raman in the female lead. Sanuthirakani, Anusree, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Mamukoya, Kunjan, Siddique, Renji Panicker etc. play the supporting roles. The movie is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas.
