Amala Paul-AL VIjay Divorce: Is Trust Issue The Reason?

Amala Paul and AL Vijay, the star couple has mutually decided to part ways. Recently, a close family friend of Amala had blamed Vijay's family for the divorce and alleged that they tortured the actress.

Vijay's family was heavily criticised by the fans and the media, for trying to prevent Amala from pursuing a career in films. But, AL Vijay bitterly slammed the reports with a recent press note.

The director stated that the allegations made by Amala's friend are totally untrue. Vijay remarked that he is a person who deeply respects women and has always portrayed them in a dignified way in his films.

His father AL Alagappan expressed his disappointment over the issue as a typical father, when the media representatives forced him to do so. But, his words were taken by the media in a totally wrong sense.

According to Vijay, the base of a marital relationship is trust and honesty. It will turn meaningless once the trust is broken. That is what happened in the life of Vijay and Amala, who had a love marriage.

Vijay says that he had never thought that his relationship with Amala will end on a sour note, even in his wildest dreams. But, the gender-biased reports published by the media were more painful than the separation.

The director has also requested the media to respect their privacy and not spread baseless speculations about the whole issue. Vijay also thanked his industry and media friends for the support, through his press note.
