Bollywood film Queen, was one of the biggest hits of the year 2014. Apart from being a big hit, the film also won the love of the Indian film audiences. The movie also fetched Kangana Ranaut, her first National Award for the Best Actress.
There were many speculations revolving around the remake of the movie in different languages. Now, the latest reports reveal that the Malayalam remake of the movie is on the cards and actress Amala Paul would be doing the lead role in the movie.
Reportedly, the film would be directed by veteran actress Revathi. Interestingly, the Tamil version of the movie will also be directed by Revathi. If reports are to be believed, actress Tamannah would play the lead role in the film.
If the reports turn out to be true, this would be the first time that Revathi would be directing a full-length feature film in Malayalam. Earlier, she had directed the movie Makal, which was one of the short films in the anthology Kerala Cafe.
Meanwhile, the film is also expected to provide a big break to Amala Paul in Malayalam films. The actress hasn't signed any Malayalam movie after her divorce with director AL Vijay. Amala was previously seen in Malayalam in the film Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum.
