Anu Emmanuel All Set For A Kollywood Debut!

Another Malayalam actress is all set conquer Tamil cinema. Anu Emmanuel, who made her debut as a lead actres with this year's release Action Hero Biju, which had Nivin Pauly in the lead role, is all set to foray in Tamil film industry.

According to the latest reports, the actress would be seen playing the main lead role in the upcoming Tamil film Thupparivaalan, which has actor Vishal in the lead role.

Thupparivaalan will be directed by renowned film-maker Mysskin. earlier, popular South indian actress Rakul Preeth Singh was considered for the role, but she had to back out due to date issues. Reportedly, Akshara Haasan and Andrea Jeremiah would also be doing important roles in the movie.

Meanwhile, Anu Emmanuel did make a mark of her own in the Telugu industry, as well. The actress was seen doing the role of the leading lady in this year's release Majnu, which had Telugu actor Nani in the lead role. She will also be seen playing an important role in the upcoming Telugu movie Oxygen.

Interestingly, the actress hasn't signed any Malayalam projects. Anu Emmanuel was considered for the lead role in Amal Neerad's upcoming film with Dulquer Salmaan, but the actress was later replaced by debutante Karthika Muralidharan.
