Interestingly, Anu Emmanuel was the first choice for the female lead in the recently released Dulquer Salmaan starrer Charlie. But the actress turned down the offer as she was busy with her exams.
The role went on to Parvathy, and the actress garnered extremely positive reviews for her flawless performance. Later, Anu Emmanuel got her second chance with Action Hero Biju.
Anu's father, producer Thankachan Emmanuel visited the sets of Action Hero Biju, while the team was struggling to find a leading lady. It was her father who recommended Anu for the role.
The aspiring actress, who is a huge fan of Nivin Pauly, is highly excited to make her debut opposite the star she admires the most. The details of Anu's role in the movie has been kept as a secret.
Anu Emmanuel is familiar to the Malayali audience through her role in Swapna Sanchari, as Jayaram's daughter. Later, she migrated to the USA, immediately for higher studies.
The young actress is planning to be active in the movie field but is yet to sign her next project. Action Hero Biju will hit the theatres by the last week of January.
