IT'S OFFICIAL: Bala And Amrutha Suresh Are Getting Divorced

Bala and Amrutha Suresh, the popular star couple is finally getting a divorce. As per the latest updates, Amrutha had filed a divorce petition at the Kaloor family court, five months ago.

Reportedly, Bala has filed a petition for the permission to visit their only daughter Avantika, who is currently living with her mother. The court granted permission to the actor, upon his plea.

The reports regarding the separation of the couple started doing rounds in June 2015. Even though Amrutha brushed off the rumours immediately, Bala went on to confirm the news, to the much shock of the industry.

But, Amrutha still rubbished the reports stating that Bala's statements are based on some misunderstandings. Later, she admitted that they are separated and requested the media to respect their privacy.

Sources suggest that the relationship soured after Amrutha formed her music band Amrutham Gamaya. Even though Bala was highly supportive of Amrutha's career, she shifted back to her parents' house stating various reasons.

According to Bala's friends, Amrutha was disrespectful towards his family and tried to maintain a distance. The actor decided to part ways, as he was extremely disappointed about his daughter staying away from him and his family.
