Pics! Bhama Is Back With 'Marupadi'!

Actress Bhama is all set to make a comeback with a powerul role, after not so successful recent outings in Malayalam films. The actress was previously seen in Maalgudi Days, which released in January, this year.

Bhama would next be seen in V M Vinu's upcoming film Marupadi, which also has actor Rahman in the lead role.

The filming of Marupadi has started in Kannur. The movie is said to be based on a real life incident that happened in a jail in North India.

Bhama, would be seen in the role of Sarah, wife of Aby, the character played by Rahman. Baby Nayanthara would be seen as Ria, the daughter of Aby and Sarah.

The story of the film is based in the city of Kolkata. According to reports, the film is said to be handling a women-centric theme and would be in the lines of a revenge drama.

Sarah is expected to be one of the most powerful characters played by Bhama in recent times. Previously, she did a character in the film Ottamandaram(2014), which really explored the actress in her.

She went on to win Critics Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Kala in Ottamandaram. We hope that film Marupadi would also be a milestone in her career.
