The
movie,
which
is
directed
by
Martin
Prakkat
and
penned
by
Unni
R,
is
the
biggest
solo
hit
in
the
career
of
lead
actor
Dulquer
Salmaan.
Parvathy
essayed
the
female
lead
in
the
movie.
If
the
sources
are
to
be
true,
popular
actors
including
Dhanush,
Sivakarthikeyan,
and
Vijay
Sethupathi
are
considered
to
reprise
Dulquer
Salmaan's
role
from
the
original,
in
the
Tamil
remake.
The
Tamil
team
actually
wanted
Dulquer
Salmaan
and
Parvathy
to
reprise
their
roles
in
the
remake
as
well.
But
the
actors
have
made
it
clear
that
they
are
not
interested
in
acting
in
remake
movies.
Charlie,
