Kunchacko Boban's Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti is all set to release for this Vishu. The movie which has been directed by Rishi Sivakumar also marks Shamili's debut in Malayalam as a lead actress.
Shamili, had earlier featured in number of Malayalam films as a child artist. Here are a few other present generation actresses of Malayalam cinema who made their debut as a child artist.
She was a popular face in Malayalam TV serials and one of her most popular roles was in the serial Ente Manasa Puthri, where she played the role of a girl named Anjali. Later, she debuted as a lead actress through Sathyan Anthikkad's Puthiya Theerangal.
The cute little Nazriya had appeared in Blessy's Palunku, playing Mammootty's daughter. She also has appeared in other films like Oru Naal Varum and Pramani, as a child artist, before debuting as a lead actress.
The cute little Manjima of 'Priyam' and 'Madhuranombarakattu' became a lead actress through G Prajith's Oru Vadakkan Selfie. Interestingly, she won the State award for Best Child Artist for her performance in Madhuranombarakaattu.

Shamili, fondly known as Baby Shamili in her younger days has acted in number of films as a child artist panning various South Indian languages.
She debuted in Malayalam through Kamal's Pookkaalam Varavaayi, but her most notable work remains Bharathan's Malootty, which fetched her Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist.
Interestingly, Shamili's sister Shalini, who was also a child artist, debuted as a lead actress in Malayalam films through the film Aniyathipraavu, which also had Kunchacko Boban in the lead role.
Shamili, earlier made her debut as a lead actress through the Telugu film 'Oye' which released in the year 2009. She then went for a break and is making a comeback to films through Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti.
