Finally, one of the most celebrated on-screen pairs of Malayalam cinema has turned to be a real life couple, as well. Yes, we are talking about Dileep and Kavya Madhavan, who have entered the wedlock, today (November 25, 2016).
Over the years, both the actors have went on to fetch a place in the hearts of the audiences. They have acted together in about 21 movies and most of the films had them as the on-screen pairs.
But, out of these 21 films, certain movies didn't feature them as on-screen pairs. Do you know those movies? If not, read on to know more about those movies.
Darling Darling (2000)
This film, which was a romantic comedy entertainer, had Dileep in a role with slight negative shades. Dileep played a crooked character named Karthik, who has an eye on Padmaja, played by Kavya Madhavan. The actress was paired opposite Vineeth in the film.
Dosth (2001)
This film, which released in the year 2001 had Dileep and Kunchacko Boban in the lead roles. Interestingly, Kavya Madhavan played sister to Dileep's character in the film and she was paired opposite Kunchacko Boban.
Perumazhakkalam (2004)
Perumazhakkalam, directed by Kamal, was all about the leading ladies of the film, Kavya Madhavan and Meera Jasmine. Dileep played an extended cameo in the film and he was paired opposite Meera Jasmine. It was actor Vineeth, who played the husband of Kavya Madhavan in the film.
Twety 20 (2008)
Twenty 20 had all the big stars of Mollywood in it, and Dileep played a key role in the film. Kavya Madhavan too, essayed a vital role in the film by doing a special appearance. Both the actors didn't have combination sequences in the movie
China Town (2011)
China Town, directed by Rafi-Mecartin had Mohanlal, Jayaram and Dileep in the lead roles. Interestingly, Kavya Madhavan who was one of the leading ladies of the film was paired opposite Mohanlal in the film.
Interestingly, both Kavya Madhavan and Dileep entered the film industry, with the same movie. Kamal's Pookkalam Varavaayi, which released in the year 1991, paved their way to films. While Kavya Madhavan debuted as a child artist, Dileep stepped in as an assistant director.
Well, it wouldn't by an exaggeration if we say that the audiences remember the movies in which they have been paired opposite each other, more. Such is the huge fan following that this pair has.
