Dileep's upcoming film is Welcome To Central Jail, which would be a comedy entertainer directed by Sundardas. This film also marks the comeback of the director after a brief break.

Dileep would be seen in the role of Unni, a common man who hails from a popular colony in the city. Under certain circumstances Unni admits to an offense not done by him and goes to jail to save another person.

Unni turns out to be the most lovable person in the jail, making the jail like a college campus. What happens later forms the movie Welcome To Central Jail.

The script of the film has been written by Benny P Nayarambalam and is said to be a fun entertainer. The first look posters of the film suggest the same.

Vedhika plays the main female lead in this film. It is for the second time that Vedhika is pairing opposite Dileep. They both were seen together earlier, in the film Sringaravelan.

The film has an ensemble star cast comprising of actors like Siddique,Aju Varghese, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Renji Panikker, Kalabhavan Shajon, Kanaaran Harish, Dharmajan Bolgatty etc. Actor Shafique, who did the villain role in Amar Akbar Anthony, would be seen in this film too.

The film is slated for 2016 Onam release.
