Dileep's Ramaleela Starts Rolling
Dileep starring upcoming political thriller Ramaleela, directed by debutant Arun Gopi has started rolling in Kochi.
Dileep, the janapriyanayakan of Mollywood is finally back from Dubai. The actor recently started filming for his highly anticipated political thriller Ramaleela. The pooja ceremony of the movie was recently held in Kochi.
Popular film producer Antony Perumbavoor performed the first clap ceremony of the movie. Ramaleela, which is directed by newcomer Arun Gopi, is scripted by the renowned scenarist turned director Sachy.
Earlier, it was reported that Dileep will be starting the shoot for his upcoming project Professor Dinkan, after coming back from Dubai. But the project has reportedly been delayed due to technical reasons.
Instead, Dileep started filming for Ramaleela, which will feature the actor in the role of a young MLA. The movie will narrate a political story, in the backdrop of humour and romance.
Ramaleela will mark the comeback of Radhika Sarathkumar to Mollywood, after a long gap of 23 years. The movie, which will feature Radhika in the role of Dileep's mother, will have Prayaga Martin in the female lead.
Shaji is the director of photography. Ramaleela is produced by Tomichan Mulakupada, who recently tasted success with the huge success of the Mohanlal starring action thriller, Pulimurugan.
