Georgettan's Pooram, the upcoming project of Dileep, was initially slated to release for Christmas 2016. But the team later decided to postpone the release of the Biju Arookutti-directed project to January 2017, citing technical issues as the reason.

But according to the rumour mills, the makers decided not to release the movie for Christmas, considering the negative image of the actor among the family audiences. Dileep's sudden marriage with Kavya has severely damaged his family man image.
