Dileep’s Georgettan’s Pooram To Release On January 25?

Well, the year-end-season has definitely turned out to be a disappointing one for all the moviegoers, with none of the movies slated as Christmas releases not making to the theatres due to the strike called by the Producers association.

But, the month of January promises some good movies for the audience. Now, according to the latest reports, Dileep's much awaited movie Georgettan's Pooram has got a release date and the movie would hit the theatres on January 25, 2017.

Earlier, the film was planned as a Christmas release, but the makers pushed ahead the date due to delay in works. Interestingly, the film will be Dileep's first major release after his marriage with actress Kavya Madhavan.

If Georgettan's Pooram hits the theatres on January 25, the film will fight it out Mammootty's The Great Father, which is expected to hit the theatres on January 27, 2017.

Georgettan's Pooram has been directed by Biju Arookutty. The film has its script written by Y V Rajesh. Reportedly, in the film, Dileep would be seen as a lazy youth, who likes to hang out with his gang of friends. Renji Panicker will be seen playing Dileep's father in the movie. The movie also features Chemban Vinod Jose, Sharafudheen, Vinay Fort etc., in important roles.
