Dr Biju-Adoor Gopalakrishnan Spat Takes An Ugly Turn!

Recently, Dr Biju lambasted Adoor Gopalakrishnan's most recent movie Pinneyum, which has Dileep and Kavya Madhavan in the lead role. The director openly criticized the film stating the movie to be a bad one.

Interestingly, Adoor Gopalakrishnan gave a reply to Dr Biju through a popular daily. He stated that Dr Biju is jealous because he hasn't achieved anything in life and also opined that Dr Biju is a person who doesn't know anything about films.

Reacting to this statement given by Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Dr Biju did let out a note on his Facebook page, with the paper cutting of Adoor Gopalakrishnan's views on Dr Biju.

The director stated that he never expected Adoor Gopalakrishnan to react in an insolent manner to a criticism. He also mentioned that, at present he is the Head of the Health Department of a district, and by no means Adoor can tarnish the director's image by saying that he hasn't achieved anything in his life.

The director also made it a point to remind that that he and his films have received close to 12 international awards in the past 12 years, whereas Adoor Gopalakrishnan has not won a prominent award in the past 20 years.

He also criticized the attitude of Adoor Gopalakrishnan by mentioning that the master film-maker despises the awards, when it is received by someone else.
