CONFIRMED: Dulquer Salmaan In Aashiq Abu Movie

Dulquer Salmaan, the charming actor is the new busy bee of Malayalam cinema. Dulquer has been flooded with offers from the top notch film-makers of Malayalam and Tamil industries.

As per the latest updates, the young actor is all set to play the lead role in Aashiq Abu's upcoming directorial venture. Aashiq himself, announced the news in the recent interview given to Manorama online.

More details regarding the title of the movie, female lead, and the rest of the star cast, are yet to be revealed. Sources suggest that the Aashiq Abu-Dulquer Salmaan movie is a romantic comedy.

Aashiq's last directorial venture Rani Padmini was a moderate success at the box office. His production venture Maheshinte Prathikaaram, which stars Fahadh Faasil, has already emerged as a blockbuster.

Interestingly, Aashiq made his directorial debut with the movie Daddy Cool, which had Mammootty in the lead role. He had also associated with Mammootty for Gangster, which was a failure.

Dulquer Salmaan, on the other hand, is on a high with the success of Charlie. His upcoming projects include Sameer Thahir's Kali, Rajeev Ravi's Kammatti Paadam, Amal Neerad's untitled movie etc.
