Dulquer Salmaan's Kali Censored With A 'U' Certificate

Kali, the Dulquer Salmaan starring upcoming action thriller bagged a clean 'U' certificate from the censor board. Kali, which is slated to release on March 26th, is directed by Sameer Thahir.

Sai Pallavi essays the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the movie, which revolves around the married couple Siddharth and Anjali. Kali is said to be an intense, serious movie.

Dulquer plays the central character Siddharth while Sai Pallavi depicts his wife, Anjali. Reportedly, Pallavi is playing a character with a huge scope to perform in the movie and has dubbed on her own.

Interestingly, the team had initially tried to find a good dubbing artist for Sai Pallavi, but the efforts went in vain. Later, they decided to make Sai dub for herself, by making some slight changes in the plot.

Kali also stars Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod, Vinayakan, Anjali Aneesh Upasana, etc in the other pivotal roles. The story, screenplay, and dialogues of the movie are penned by Rajesh Gopinadhan.

Shyju Khalid handles the cinematography. Gopi Sundar composes the songs and background score. Kali, which is produced by Handmade Films, will hit the theatres on March 26th.
