Dulquer Salmaan's Kammatipaadam Gets A Release Date

Kammatipaadam, the highly anticipated Dulquer Salmaan movie, has finally got a release date. The movie, which is directed by National award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, will hit the theatres on May 20th.

Expectations are riding high on Kammatipaadam, as it marks the first collaboration of Dulquer Salmaan with Rajeev Ravi. The actor is playing the central character Krishnan, a Kochi-based middle aged man.

The movie, which is penned by actor-director P Balachandran, deals with the growth of Kochi from a small town, into a metro city. Vinayakan appears in another important character, Gangan, in the movie.

Both Dulquer and Vinayakan are said to be playing entirely different, challenging characters, which have no similarities with their earlier roles. The actors will appear in three different looks in the movie.

Newcomer Shaun Romy essays the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Suraj Venjarammoodu, Anjali Aneesh, Vinay Forrt, Shine Tom Chacko, Amalda Liz, etc play the supporting roles in the movie.

Madhu Neelakandan handles the cinematography. B Ajith Kumar handles the editing. John P Varkey and Vinayakan compose the music. Kammatipaadam is produced by Prem Menon, under the banner Global United Media.
