Dulquer Salmaan, the charming actor stole the hearts of the South Indian audiences with his exceptional performance in OK Kanmani. Now, the movie has been remade in Bollywood, by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions under the title OK Jaanu.
Recently, Dulquer and Karan had an interesting conversation and praised each other, on Twitter. The young actor, who is highly impressed with the trailer of OK Jaanu, shared it on his official Facebook page and praised the team members.

Karan Johar, who immediately replied to Dulquer's tweet, praised actor by stating that he has set the bar so high. The director-producer also expressed his hope that OK Jaanu will live up to the expectations set by its original.
OK Jaanu, which is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies, is directed by Shaad Ali. Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor reprise the roles played by Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen.
Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah reprises the role played by Prakash Raj, in the original. OK Kanmani aka O Kadhal Kanmani, which was scripted, directed, and produced by Mani Ratnam, was both a critical and commercial success.
Dulquer Salmaan, who played the character of Aditya Varadarajan, a video game developer, was highly appreciated for his performance in the movie. He also made his Tollywood debut with the Telugu version, OK Bangaram.
