Dulquer
Salmaan
starring
upcoming
love
story,
directed
by
actor-director
Prathap
Pothen,
is
rumoured
to
be
in
trouble.
Reportedly,
the
project
has
been
delayed
due
to
Prathap's
fallout
with
cinematographer
Rajiv
Menon.
The
director
has
posted
a
note
on
his
Facebook
page
on
June
30th,
revealing
how
a
cinematographer
insulted
him
by
asking
to
direct
a
short
film
and
prove
his
talent,
before
directing
the
Dulquer
movie.
Prathap
has
clearly
mentioned
that
he
introduced
this
highly
popular
cinematographer
into
the
movie
industry.
Rajiv
Menon
made
his
debut
as
an
independent
cinematographer,
with
Prathap
Pothen's
directorial
venture
Chaithanya.
So,
the
industry
members
and
media
speculate
that
Prathap
posted
about
none
other
than
Rajiv
Menon,
who
is
supposed
to
crank
the
camera
for
his
upcoming
Dulquer
Salmaan
movie.
However,
the
reports
are
not
confirmed
yet.
Earlier,
Prathap
Pothen
has
had
an
ugly
fallout
with
actor
Jayaram,
as
his
son
Kalidas
Jayaram
rejected
the
project
stating
that
he
is
not
ready
to
work
with
'old'
directors.
Later,
the
team
went
on
to
rope
in
Dulquer
Salmaan.
The
untitled
movie,
which
is
written
by
National
award
winner
Anjali
Menon,
is
produced
by
the
Malayalam
banner
Supriya
Films.
Popular
actor
R
Madhavan
is
said
to
be
making
an
extended
cameo
appearance
in
the
movie.
