Well, the previous week was expected to be a big one for the Mollywood, with Nadirshah's second directorial venture Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan having slated for a release on November 11, 2016.

Pulimurugan has had a fantastic run at the box office, so far. But, in the past week, the film had to slow down a little bit, owing to the note ban, which came to effect on November 9, 2016. Nonetheless, the film holds on to most of the centres and is expected to bounce back strongly in the coming days.

The first official teaser of Ezra was released on November 13, 2016. From the teaser, the film looks heavily promising and it seems like a real horror movie is on the cards.

Mollywood's Onam release, Oppam, which managed to impress all sections of audiences alike, has beaten the box office records of Premam. Now, Oppam, is the third highest grosser of Mollywood, behind Mohanlal's Pulimurugan and Drishyam.
Dulquer Salmaan In Parava
Here is an interesting addition to Parava's cast list. Actor Dulquer salmaan would be seen playing an extended cameo in Soubin Shahir's debut directorial venture. Reportedly, the actor has allotted 20 days for the shoot of the film.
Biju Menon starrer Swarna Kaduva, which released on November 4, 2011 has managed well to hold on to majority of centres with decent collections. Similar, is the case of Vineeth Sreenivasan's Aanandam, which is doing good business at multiplex centres.
The past week also witnessed the release of some other language movies. Gautham Menon's Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada starring Simbu in the lead role was the prominent one among them. Kalidas Jayaram's debut Tamil film Meen Kuyambum Manpannayum, also made it to the theatres in Kerala.
If all goes well, the upcoming week would witness the clash of two major Malayalam films. Dhyan Sreenivasan's Ore Mukham and Nadirshah's Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan would lock horns at the box office.
