Ennu Ninte Moideen, the blockbuster movie of 2015 is all set to have a prequel. But as per the reports, director RS Vimal will not be a part of the prequel.
Reportedly, Vimal himself backed out from the project, as he wants to concentrate on his dream project, Karnan. Sources suggest that another film-maker has been roped in to direct the prequel.
The prequel is said to be based on BP Moideen's political and social life while Ennu Ninte Moideen was a complete love story, based on the romance between Moideen and Kanchanamala.
Prithviraj is expected to reprise his role of BP Moideen in the prequel, which will be produced by Moideen's brother BP Rasheed and friends. The project will have the same technical crew of Ennu Ninte Moideen.
According to producer Rasheed, the team is planning to discuss the project with Prithviraj soon. The makers also want Parvathy to play Kanchanamala but is yet to approach to the actress.
However, the prequel will not be an expensive project like Ennu Ninte Moideen. But the makers assure that it will be an interesting portrayal of Moideen's life, which will fulfill the expectation of the audiences.
