WOW! First Look Poster Of Veeram Is Out!

Jayaraj is one such director who has given us some quality films. He definitely could be branded as one of the versatile film-makers of Malayalam film indsutry.

The director is all set to enthrall us all with his upcoming film Veeram. The first look poster of the film is out and it has raised the expectations about the movie.

Veeram, is a period drama, which is based on William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Earlier, another Malayalam film named Karmayogi, directed by V K Prakash with Indrajith in the lead role, was also based on Macbeth.

Veeram is set in the backdrop of the Kerala of 13th century. Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor does the lead role role of the warrior, Chanthu Chekavar. The actor did undergo special training in Kalaripayattu to prepare for the character.

Interestingly, Veeram is being made in three different languages. Apart from Malayalam, the film will also be released in Hindi and English.

Veeram has its script written by the director himself. Jayaraj has roped in some big names from Hollywood and Bollywood to work in the film. Hollywood music composer Jeff Rona would handle the music department of the film. S Kumar is the cinematographer of the film.

The film is being produced by Chandramohan D Pillai and Pradeep Rajan under the banner of Chandrakala Arts.
