Pulimurugan has been in the news since the release of the film on October 7, 2016. The Mohanlal starrer has garnered wide appreciations and is on the road to become a huge blockbuster.
The theme song of the film 'Muruga Muruga..' was recently released online by the makers of the film. The song set to tune by Gopi Sunder, which perfectly suits the mood of the film, has won the hearts of the people.
But, controversy surfaced, when certain section of people came in criticizing Gopi Sunder for plagiarism. Reportedly, the song has some similarities with a devotional song, which was released way back.
Gopi Sunder, took to Facebook to clear the air on this issue. The composer did send out a video regarding the same. Take a look at the Facebook post of Gopi Sunder.
In the video, he clearly states that he has not copied the tune from any other song and the song 'Muruga Muruga..' is an original creation and the similarities might be only in the Raagas. He also thanked all the audiences, who have supported and loved this particular song.
Well, the song is already a big hit among the masses and going by the reviews, the song and BGM of the film, set to tune by Gopi Sunder have struck the right chords.
