Govind
Padmasoorya
would
be
seen
in
an
important
role
in
Ranjith
Shankar's
upcoming
film
Pretham
which
will
have
Jayasurya
in
the
lead
role.
Interestingly,
Govind
Padmasoorya
would
be
seen
in
the
role
of
a
Zumba
instructor
in
this
film,
which
is
touted
to
be
a
horror
comedy.
GP,
as
he
is
fondly
called,
would
portray
a
character
named
Shibu
Majeed,
an
engineering
graduate
who
is
unsure
of
what
he
wants.
Eventually,
the
character
chooses
to
be
a
Zumba
instructor.
According
to
reports,
Jayasurya
would
be
seen
portraying
a
character
named
Don
Bosco.
The
movie
is
about
three
friends
Priyalal(Aju
Varghese),
Shibu(Govind
Padmasoorya)
and
Denny
Kokken(Joju
George),
and
a
dream
mission
that
they
have
been
nurturing.
Govind
Padmasoorya
shot
to
fame
through
the
programme
D
4
Dance,
which
did
boost
his
popularity.
His
experience
in
the
show
would
definitely
help
him
in
portraying
the
character
of
Shibu
Majeed.
The
actor
had
two
releases
in
2015,
namely
32aam
Adyayam
23aam
Vaakyam
and
Lavender.
Both
the
films
didn't
do
well
at
the
box-office.
Incidentally,
this
is
the
second
time
that
Govind
Padmasoorya
is
joining
hands
with
director
Ranjith
Sankar.
GP
had
portrayed
an
important
role
in
Ranjith
Sankar's
Varsham.
The
shooting
of
the
film
is
expected
to
begin
by
the
end
of
May
and
the
makers
are
planning
to
release
the
film
on
August
12,
2016.
We
wish
Govind
Padmasoorya
and
the
entire
team
of
Pretham
all
the
very
best.
