Had Pulimurugan Failed, Mohanlal Would've Quit Acting!

Pulimurugan, the recently released action thriller has emerged as the biggest hit of Mohanlal's career. Shockingly, Mohanlal had decided to quit acting, if the movie fails at the box office.

Director Vysakh revealed about the decision taken by the actor during the shooting, in a recent interview. According to Vysakh, he was planning to end his direction career, if the movie ends up as a flop.

When he revealed his decision to Mohanlal, the actor immediately said that he will also quit acting, if Pulimurugan ends up as a flop. It was a huge shock to the director and he requested the actor to change his decision.

But, Mohanlal explained why he made such a decision, in an interesting way. The actor felt that he will no longer be eligible to be in the industry or call himself an actor, if his judgement about Pulimurugan goes wrong.

Mohanlal's words boosted the confidence of the director and team members, and they decided to work harder for the movie. However, now it has been proven that the actor's judgement was absolutely right.

Now, Pulimurugan has emerged as one of the biggest hits of the industry and broken several box office record. The movie is expected to become the first Malayalam movie to enter the 100-Crore club.
