Happy Wedding Continues Its Happy Run!

Happy Wedding, the film which marked the directorial debut of Omar Lulu has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of this year so far.

The film which has completed 70-days of continuous run in the theatres has fetched gold at the Kerala box-office.

Happy Wedding was made at a comparatively lower budget and according to the latest reports, the film has crossed 13 Crores mark at the Kerala box-office.

This definitely makes the film one of the biggest hits of this year so far as far as the profit margin is concerned.

The film, which released on May 20, 2016 had a slow beginning, but with positive reviews and good word of mouth, the film cruised ahead at the box-office.

Happy Wedding was released along with other big films like Kammatipaadam and Aadupuliyattam. The film had only few centres initially but with good reviews coming in, the number of centres increased in the following days.

Featuring Siju Wilson, Sharafudheen, Justin John, Soubin Shahir etc. in the lead roles, Happy Wedding still holds on to few centres in Kerala even after big movies like Kasaba and Kabali hit the theatres. The film has had an exception run in multiplex centres in Ernakulam.

In fact, the film was initially called a re-union of Premam boys as its lead actors were also a part of the film Premam.
