Anoop Menon is an actor who has been fortunate enough to play some exceptionally versatile roles in his career. Anoop has also proved his mettle as a scriptwriter and lyricist.

He can play the role of a middle-aged father and an intense lover with the same ease. In a recent interview, Anoop stated that he is proud that he could be a part of the movie industry, without any godfathers.

Interestingly, the actor belongs to a business family which had no connections with the film or mimicry industry. But Anoop was extremely fond of films, from his teenage days.

He started his media career as an anchor and later ventured into TV serials. According to Anoop Menon, he has never planned to pursue an acting career, but cinema came to him unexpectedly.

Now, he is an adamant film lover and tries to follow the works of new directors and actors. Anoop is a close associate of senior directors, including Ranjith, Lal Jose, and VK Prakash, but he prefers to work with new faces more.
