Inspector Dawood Ibrahim (IDI) Gets A Release Date

Inspector Dawood Ibrahim aka IDI, the upcoming Jayasurya starrer, has got a release date. The Sajid Yahiya-directed movie, which is an action-comical thriller,Inspector Dawood Ibrahim will hit the theatres on August 12th, Friday.

Jayasurya plays the titular character Inspector Dawood Ibrahim. Shivada Nair, the Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam actress, will appear in the female lead opposite the versatile actor in the much-awaited movie.

The movie marks the directorial debut of Sajid Yahiya, who has already established himself as an actor. Saiju Kurup, Joju George, Sunil Sukhada, Moly Kannamani, etc. appear in the supporting roles.

Inspector Dawood Ibrahim is jointly scripted by director Sajid and Arouz Irfan. The movie is produced by Dr. Ajaz Ibrahim and Arun, under the banner Magic Lantern, along with Eros International.

The team is planning to have a worldwide release for IDI, which is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated films of Mollywood. The movie will present versatile actor Jayasurya, in a never-seen-before police role.

Sujith Sarang is the director of photography. Rahul Raj composes the songs and background score. Shameer Muhammed handles the editing. The movie is distributed by Eros International.
