The popular poet-lyricist bid goodbye to this world on February 13th, 2016, at the age of 84, due to age-related issues. The Jnanpith winner has penned about 900 movie songs in his career.

Anandakuttan

The popular cinematographer, who was 61 years old, succumbed to cancer on February 14th, 2016. He handled the cinematography of several popular movies, including Manichitrathazhu, Bharatham, Kamaladalam, etc.

Rajamani

The veteran musician, who is best known for his background scores, passed away on February 14th, 2016, at a private hospital in Chennai. He composed the background scores for the blockbuster movies Commissioner, The King, Aaram Thamburan, Narasimham, etc.

Shan Johnson

Shan, who is the daughter of late musician Johnson master, was found dead at her Chennai residence on January 25th, 2016. The 29-year-old succumbed death due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
