Jayaraj Comes Out With An Explanation On Pulimurugan Remark!

In a recent interview, renowned Malayalam director Jayaraj had talked about his views on Pulimurugan, and the reason behind the success of the film.

The director had stated that the success that Pulimurugan enjoyed was not only because of the star power of Mohanlal but also because of the high technical quality of the film.

The remarks definitely didn't go on well with certain sections of the audiences, which included the fans of Mohanlal. On this context, director Jayaraj took to Facebook to give a clarification on the same.

Jayaraj clarified that the technical quality of the film also had played a part in generating the initial pull that the film received. The director also added that Pulimurugan is a film that has showcased the immense acting talent and the dedication of a great actor like Mohanlal. He also expressed an apology in case his remarks did hurt Mohanlal or his fans.

Meanwhile, Jayaraj is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Veeram, which has been made with a budget of 35 Crores. The preview trailer of the film starring Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor, in the lead roles was released recently and it has opened to good responses.
