Jayaram, is all set for a grand comeback with his upcoming film Aadupuliyattam. The film is on the lines of a horror thriller and is expected to make it big at the box office.

Interestingly, the actor seems to have got a love for this genre,let us take a look at some of the horror films in which Jayaram has acted.

Moonamathoral, directed by V K Prakash, is the first digital movie in Malayalam. The film was a horror thriller and had its own shares of thrills and chills to offer. Jayaram played the role of a Police Officer in this film.

Aadupuliyattam, according to its makers is said to be based on an age-old myth. It is said to be the kind of a horror thriller, which is new to Malayalam cinema.

Aadupuliyattam, would see Jayaram in a new avatar. He has opted for a complete makeover in this film and his new salt and pepper style has gained wide appreciation.

The film would also see Jayaram coming out of stereotype roles that he has been opting for in the recent past. Aadupuliyattam, would definitely be a welcome change for the actor and his fans.

The film has an ensemble star cast which includes Om Puri, Ramya Krishnan, Sampath, Ramesh Pisharody, Pashanam Shaji, Sheelu Abraham etc.

The songs of the film set to tune by Ratheesh Vega, have already evoked interest among the people.

The film has been directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam who debuted to films through Jayaram starrer Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare.

Aadupuliyattam is slated for release on April 29th and the makers are also planning to release the film in other languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi etc.
