join
hands
with
director
Sajid
Yahiya,
once
again.
The
duo
had
teamed
up
for
this
year's
release
IDI-Inspector
Dawood
Ibrahim.
Reportedly,
the
upcoming
film
would
be
different
from
IDI
and
will
be
a
gangster
based
flick
set
in
the
backdrop
of
Thrissur
city.
Interestingly,
Jayasurya
played
the
role
of
a
Thrissur
based
gangster
named
Varaal
Jaison,
in
the
film
Gangs
Of
Vadakkumnathan,
which
was
one
of
the
short
films
of
the
anthology
film
D
Company.
Sajid
Yahiya
confirmed
the
news
about
this
project
through
his
Facebook
page.
He
also
stated
that
the
film
would
have
its
script
written
by
young
music
director
Ratheesh
Vega.
It
is
for
the
first
time
that
the
music
director
is
scripting
for
a
movie.
According
to
the
reports,
the
film
would
go
on
floors
by
May
2017
and
the
makers
are
planning
to
shoot
the
movie
during
the
Thrissur
Pooram
festival.
Meanwhile,
Jayasurya's
next
release
is
Siddique's
Fukri,
which
is
all
set
to
open
big
during
the
upcoming
Christmas
season.
