Jayasurya's IDI & Pretham To Release On Same Day!

Here is an exciting news for all the Jayasurya fans out there. Jayasurya's two most awaited projects, Inspector Dawood Ibrahim aka IDI and Pretham, have been slated to be released on the same day.

Reportedly, both Pretham and IDI will hit the theatres on August 12th, Friday. So, the fans will be able to watch the two entirely different avathars of the versatile actor, on the same day.

In IDI, Jayasurya plays the title character Inspector Dawood Ibrahim, a highly dedicated police officer. In Pretham, the actor will essay the role of a mentalist, who has special skills to read others mind.

Both the audiences and media are eagerly waiting to watch Jayasurya's performance in both the movies, which are entirely different from each other. The actor hasn't opened up about this exciting news yet.

Pretham is a horror comedy written and directed by Ranjith Sankar, the Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam director. The movie is produced by Jayasurya and Ranjith themselves, under the banner Dreams N Beyond.

IDI, which is said to be an action-comedy, marks the directorial debut of actor Sajid Yahiya. Shivada Nair plays the female lead. The movie is produced by Ajaz and Arun, under the banner Magic Lantern.
