Jayasurya & Ranjith Sankar With Pretham!

Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar, the popular actor-director duo is back after the huge success of Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam. The duo is teaming up for a horror comedy, titled Pretham.

Both Ranjith Sankar and Jayasurya have shared the first look poster of Pretham, through their official Facebook pages. The duo first teamed up for the satirical comedy Punyalan Agarbattis.

Ranjith Sankar was the writer of the first ever horror TV serial in the history of Malayalam TV industry, Nizhalukal. It is still considered as the scariest horror serial ever made in Malayalam.

Expectations are riding high on Pretham, as it marks the comeback of Ranjith Sankar into the horror genre. It is also a significant venture, as horror is one of the not-so-explored genres in Mollywood.

Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar have not revealed any other details regarding the project. More details regarding the rest of the star cast and crew are expected to be revealed soon.

Ranjith, who made his directorial debut with the Dileep-Sreenivasan starrer Passenger, emerged the top directors league of M'town, with the success of his Mammootty starrer Varsham.

Jayasurya, on the other hand, is back on the success track with the duo's last outing Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam. He will be next seen in the sequel of Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu.
