Jishnu Raghavan Special: Rare & Unseen Pictures

Jishnu Raghavan, the popular young actor bid goodbye to this world today (March 25th, Friday). The 36-year-old succumbed to cancer at a private hospital in Kochi, after a prolonged battle.

The actor was born in Kannur, as the elder son of veteran actor Raghavan and Shoba. Jishnu has a younger sister, named Jyotsna. He married his longtime girlfriend Dhanya Rajan, whom he met during his NIT days.

Jishnu did his schooling in Chennai and Trivandrum. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Calicut. The actor made his acting debut, as a child artist in 1987 with the movie Kilippattu.

The actor made his lead role debut with Kamal directed Nammal, along with Siddharth Bharathan, Bhavana, and Renuka Menon. He later acted in several films, including the blockbuster movie Nerariyan CBI.

Jishnu Raghavan was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, in 2013, but completely recovered from the disease later. But the actor confirmed that he is diagnosed with a cancerous tumor for the second time, in 2015.

The actor, who is known for his highly positive attitude, and courage, had recently revealed that he was in ICU, through his Facebook page. Jishnu was planning to be active in the movie field, after completing the treatment.
