On his Facebook post, he stated that Pulimurugan brought back the young guy in him, who used to get goosebumps while watching Mohanlal movies in theatres. He showered praises on the star and his dedication.

He also made it a point to congratulate the director Vysakh, scriptwriter Udaykrishna, Peter Hein, the man behind the exotic stunt sequences, and above all Tomichan Mulakupaadam, the person who financed the big budget film.

On the other hand, Jude Anthany Joseph was a part of the Mammootty starrer Thoppil Joppan, which hit the theatres along with Pulimurugan. The director was seen playing an important role in the film. Thoppil Joppan is also doing a good business at the box office.

Meanwhile, Jude Anthany Joseph's directorial venture Oru Muthassi Gadha, which released during the Onam season, managed to impress the audiences.
