The film did open to good responses from the audiences and is slowly and steadily moving ahead at the box office. There is another happy news for the lovers of the film, which has come as a cherry on the cake for the entire team of the film.

Reportedly, Oru Muthassi Gadha has been selected to be screened at the Prague International Film Festival. Jude Anthany Joseph took to Facebook to confirm this news and sent out a post regarding the same. According to him, Oru Muthassi Gadha is the only film from South India, which made the cut to the film festival.

Oru Muthassi Gadha is the second directorial venture of Jude Anthany Joseph after the superhit film Ohm Shanthi Oshana. Oru Muthassi Gadha deals with the story of a grandmother, who is feared by all.

Newcomer Rajini Chandy has been cast as the grandmother in the film. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Lena, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Rajev Pillai, Aparna Balamurali, Bhagyalakshmi, Ramesh Pisharody, Vijayaraghavan, Dharmajan etc. are also part of the cast list.
