'Kaadhal' Sandhya Welcomes A Baby Girl!

Kaadhal Sandhya, the actress who made a mark in both Malayalam and Tamil movie industries, welcomed a baby girl. Sandhya and husband Venkat welcomed their first child on the actress's birthday, September 27.

Earlier, it was reported that the actress's biggest wish is to deliver her first child, on her birthday. However, the luck favoured Sandhya, as the baby girl arrived on the birthday of her mother.

The actress got married to her longtime boyfriend Venkat Chandrasekharan, who is an IT businessman by profession, on December 6, 2015. The couple tied the knot after dating for a few years.

Kaadhal Sandhya and Venkat's wedding had made headlines, as the couple travelled from Chennai to Guruvayoor temple for the ceremony, while the Chennai city was battling the flood.

Due to the floods, the couple cancelled all the wedding-related ceremonies which were supposed to be held in Chennai. Later, they donated the amount reserved for the wedding, to the flood relief fund.

Sandhya made her acting debut with the 2004-released Tamil movie, Kaadhal. She last appeared in the 2016-released psychological thriller Vettah, which was directed by late film-maker Rajesh Pillai.
