Kalidas Jayaram To Make His Mollywood Debut
Well, the wait is over and young sensation, Kalidas Jayaram, is all set to make his Mollywood debut. The young actor would be seen in the lead role in Abrid Shine's upcoming film.
Nivin Pauly To Play Kayamkulam Kochunni
This was one of the biggest announcements in the past week. Nivin Pauly would play the role of Kayamkulam Kochunni in an upcoming big budget venture, which would be directed by Rosshan Andrrews. The film would have its script written by Bobby-Sanjay team.
Trailer Of Oozham
Trailer of Prithviraj's upcoming film Oozham got released on August 27, 2016. The trailer has opened to a good response and has further raised the expectations about the film. It seems like a thrilling revenge drama is on the cards.
Popcorn And Dum
Aneesh Upasana's Popcorn and Dum starring Lal and Shine Tom Chacko in the lead roles were the major releases in the past week. Both, the films have had a poor start at the box-office.

First Look Poster Of Aanandam
Aanandam is Vineeth Sreenivasan's debut production venture. The first look poster of the film got released recently. The film directed by Ganesh Raj has a group of newcomers in the lead roles.
The upcoming week would witness the release of Mohanlal's Janatha Garage, which has Jr NTR in the lead role. The Malayalam dubbed version of the film would hit the theatres on September 1, 2016.
This is the second Mohanlal film to hit the theatres in a span of one month. Vismayam, the Malayalam dubbed version of Manamantha had hit the theatres during the first week of August.
Mohanlal's Oppam, is also scheduled to release in the month of September and it would be the Onam release of Mohanlal.
The line-up of movies set to hit the theatres during Onam season looks promising. Priyadarshan-Mohanlal team's Oppam, Jeethu Joseph-Prithviraj team's Oozham, Dileep's Welcome To Central Jail, Kunchacko Boban's Kochavva Paulo Ayyapa Coelho and Jude Anthany Joseph's Oru Muthassi Gadha are the movies which are expected to hit the theatres during Onam season.
