Kalyani Priyadarshan Enters Movie Industry With Iru Mugan

Kalyani Priyadarshan, the daughter of senior film-maker Priyadarshan and former actress Lissy has entered the movie industry. Kalyani will make her movie debut with the upcoming Vikram starrer Iru Mugan.

Interestingly, the star kid is not entering the film industry as an actress, but she is the assistant art director of the Anand Shankar directed action thriller, which stars Nayantara in the female lead.

Lissy recently announced the news and shared a candid picture clicked during the Iru Mugan audio launch, through her official Facebook page. She thanked the director, art director, and crew of the movie, for their support.

Kalyani Priyadarshan decided to enter the film industry, after finishing her graduation from the Parsons School Of Design, New York. According to the close sources, she has no plan to start an acting career.

Lissy and Priyadarshan's son, Siddharth Priyadarshan is currently pursuing his higher studies in San Francisco. Reportedly, he is highly interested in film-making and is planning to join the movie industry soon.

Priyadarshan and Lissy parted ways after a 24-year-long married life, in December 2014. The actress is currently living in Chennai with their kids. Priyadarshan, on the other hand, is living in his hometown, Trivandrum.
