Kasaba
has
completed
its
first
weekend
at
the

Kasaba
was
fortunate
enough
to
have
a
4-day-long

as
it
hit
the
theatres
on
July
7th,
Thursday.
When
it
completes
the
first
weekend,
the
movie
has
created
a
new
record
with
a
whopping
gross
collection
of
Rs.
7.36

Thus,
Kasaba
has
broken
the
weekend
collection
record
set
by
Mohanlal's
Loham.
Loham
has
also
had
a
4-day-long
first
weekend.
The
movie
made
a
gross
collection
of
Rs.
6.2
Crores
within
its
first
weekend,
thus
emerging
as
the
Malayalam
movie
to
make
the
highest
opening
weekend
collections.
Now,
Kasaba
has
set
a
new
record
by
entering
7
Crores
club,
within
the
same
time
period.
The
movie,
which
is
directed
by
Nithin
Renji
Panicker,
has
also
broken
the
initial
collection
record
of
Kali.
Kasaba
made
a
grand
opening,
by
collecting
Rs.
2.48
Crores
solely
from
the
Kerala
box
office
on
its
releasing
day.
The
movie
made
5.56
Crores
gross
collection,
within
the
first
3
days
of
release.
Reportedly,
Kasaba
will
be
released
outside
Kerala
by
July
last
week.
The
team
expects
that
the
movie
will
enter
10
Crore
club
within
the
first
week
and
emerge
as
the
biggest
hit
in
Mammootty's
career.
